TASK:

In a pair, choose a film that you both know really well and discuss how you would produce it as a secret cinema event.

Task 

FILM: Attack The Block	ARRIVAL OF AUDIENCE: Everyone will receive a text message on the day. The text will tell you the meeting point of the audience. at the meeting point there will be a bus waiting for you to take you to the secret location.
ACTED SCENES:                                                       Alien\Zombie invasion battles in the wide corridors of the estate	LOCATION: An abandoned estate and the space around it.m Wide corridors and the houses in the estate. Underground car park and private estate park.

Christmas show

It's the day of the christmas show and I do feel quite nervous I have to say, but if Im honest I do feel confident enough to showcase our performance me and the other band members are just getting prepared.

Before getting on stage me and my group was just giving each other some last minute advise and encouragement just so we feel confident to give a grate performance.

So are group has now been called up "THIS IS IT" we are now ready, I simply introduce the group and are name to the audience, and I was pleased to see that the crowed was looking lively and energetic.

However are bass player was not with us due to bus strike so we had Charley fill in for us for the baseline was a key part of our composition so he accompanied the band on the keys.

So the song we chose was "Happy" and this is a very well know song so there would already be expectations however we had a slights twist that I suggested to the band that we should give it some sort of acoustic vibe to it but still keep it up beats and uptempo and I really think it worked out well.

With John Williams he is ultimately one of the best orchestra's that generations have seen how one man can think of such a fantastic musical ideas thats could impact on many films that will forever rememberable.

What type of ensemble does he score his film music for?  He scored his films for Star Wars , Jaws , Close , Superman ,Wore horse and manny more this clearly shows how Williams is considered one of the greatest composers.

How did he end up working with Steven Spielberg? He ended up working with Steven years before his success in 1974 as they both composed music and and also started to feature in more films.

How do they collaborate? They both have helped each other over the years be recognised by the symbolic compositions and awarded one of the best movies . So clearly as Seven Spielberg as a directer Williams as a composer have one of the best relationships in the music industry in hollywood.

What major work did he score for George Lucas?  He done a major score as george lucas was looking for someone to write afilm score for him.

Describe the motifs/themes in: a)     Jaws is an intense on your seat thrilling movie that will create themes of making the views be very alert towards what is going on also will create themes of uncertainty and being scared would deferentially be a common theme in not only jaws but however in Williams other scores.  b)       Close Encounters of A Third Kind c)        Star Wars (choose 2) this film score gave an imaginative and mysterious

Describe the compositional techniques used in ET and hw do they differ from Superman and Indiana Jones? The techniques used in et up is an up lifting

What makes his music so recognisable compared to other film scores from a similar era?  I think that what makes his music so recognisable are in manny things such as the people he works with so already movie lovers and music lovers could feed into his work. Also I feel
