Presenting my self and my work
Example 1 CV
One way I present myself is through my CV this is a grate way for me to get jobs in anything from retail and the music industry it is also grate to show independents, and if I continue to do gigs I will be able to show my performances (videos ), and this will create the sense that I am experienced as they will be able to see who I am as a performer and if the case is that I am what they need the employer can take me on. This will be helpful when trying to make money as a musician, the better I get people can see the talent in me or what I'm worth to the amount of work I put in.
By putting my music up on social media it will
help me appeal to a wide range of people and allow me to build up a strong fan Base and also with this song I sang along with the rapper scratch where he also has a fan Base so this shows me introducing my music to other people that may not listen to my gonorrhea.
By me showing this performance it allows me to have the full evidence of what takes place at the performance and how it is organised also because of other acts performing it showed how well of an performance it was as it wasn't just me that was me focused on however but everyone on stage this will later be shown to someone that will want to hear what I have to present.

EVALUATION
We began by having a group discussion on ideas that we can protest about , we then created a spider gram of ideas of things we could protest on.
This was useful because enable use to expand on our ideas. Some of the ideas we came up with were poverty and UK stabbings. However in our second group discussion we changed our idea and decided to do a protest song.
I think it made sense for us use to do this because it was so close to the general election and the results of the election will effect us as a group and the audiance.
We chose to protest on the side of Labour because we agreed with their policy. They also don't want to privetise the NSH because it will be harder for those who really need to be treated to have the money to do so and they also want free education, which will benifit our target audience.
We chose students at Westminster Kingsway College as our target audience because if Laybor wines we think it will benifit our generation for the better. therefore to reach out to colleges students is a good thing as some are at the age to vote to vote.
We also planned out the location of our performance the original plan was to arrange it in the middle of King's Cross Saint Pancreas station however we had not notify the local authority, in a few months time before hand and we only had 3 hard working weeks till are performance.
This didn't stop us we used our rehearsal room that could still fit the right amount of people which could come up to 25-30 and it also had our equipment already set in the roon so we didn't have to move anything. Since it took a long time to come up with lyrics and as a band we had to develop it over the weeks it was harder to learn them however we still had to perform.
When our audience came in we gave them a warm welcome to our short peace show we simply told them the reason for this song which was to get them to vote for Labour and how it effects our generation.
The lyrics that was being sang by me and the other singers it had a consistent effect of the lyrics "VOTE FOR LABOUR" that had the audience singing along to it this ensureed that they took the message home.
On a serious not "DO ME A FAVOUR VOTE FOR LABOUR"

RESARCH AND PLANING
When it came to the resherach and planing of this project you can see the progress that was made in our final performance compeared to our rehersals all though our rehersals were not the actrul performance it should have be taken much more serious on my behalf for when I look back at these rehersal blogs I noticed that my body languge could have been more aimed at the audience and I could have put more life to the performence.
Evaluation for film project
A)How effective your own contribution to the staging of the performance was, identifying areas you could improve in the future.
On the day of collaboration performance with the L2 Acting students, my contribution took place in in the Camdon peoples theater ,the first thing that was do was getting the equipment ready for the show so we had to get our intruments from the van to unpack whiles doing this we had to make sure things were packed where it had to be as if we were in the studio , as we was in a new inviroment and the stage was different to what we practiced on, it was much harder to play and keep focust as also the lights were in the way of the keybord and made it confusing as it gave a weird look as the shadow was on the keys and created some eluestion if I had to improve or change anything about the staging it would have to be the to do a rehersal with the stage lights and maybe get use tho the light switch as it they change from diffrent colours.
B) How, and to what extent was your work informed by the contextual research you undertook?
The resherch that was done that enspiered us to create that type of melody ,we performed was by the grate music directer and composer John Williams done, also the drama students and music students were creative just like John Williams as he is in a fild with both dramtic seans and for us to look at their work and play music allowed us to understand just like John this made our peace come together through the resherch.

EVALUATION FMP
My level 2 music performance (titled) journey turned out to be an Up and Down experience, however, we managed to get through with it.
On the day of the performance we started off by doing a sound check, this slightly brought confusion as Part of the people in are band felt unprepared and felt like the sound check could be a time to redeem themselves. However there was no time at all for it was a sound check, this included in the song( rock star ) where there were 3 microphones that had BV-backing vocals) to give more harmonies, this allowed the song to be more energized and upbeat, this would encourage the audience to get involved.
As this was one of our first gigs on a setup stage we had to make a where of safety echoes, where there was a slight gap between the back wall and the drums so the drummers were told to be careful by the safety team. A long side that thought of safety an idea suggested was to have white tape around the edge of the platform we would be stepping on to get on stage, this was useful for when the lights turned down as it was a black stage the white outline of the tape will be easy to recognise and give people the chance to step on to the stage with confidence.
There were many risks when it came to the lighting one of them was the mind blowing (keyboard effect) this was caused by the shadows of the light and made it look like there were more keys to play, I mainly found it confusing when it came to the song (dollar) the As I was playing two keys, however I dealt with this problem by putting bright blue tape on the keys I needed to play as a reminder, to where I need to play my notes.
When it comes to proformas's any thing can happen that why rehearsals and sound checks are more than important for as an example of this was in our sound check we had a smoke machine that was on just so we could get comfortable with how it felt, however a lot of smoke was being let out and as result a that the fire alarm went off and had the whole college evacuated from the smoke, in some ways that were a good situation as if that was to happen in the real gig, that really could of put everything at risk but most of all that musical connection with the audience, however, I strongly feel that part of that connection was lost due to the smoke machine being too much to the point I could not see , this was because I could not see the audience enough for me to present the emotional depth in the song and example of this was my solo performance, singing (Ordinary people - by John Legend) I strongly fell that that song can relate to many individuals who might be going through trials and tribulations, as that what people in there numbers go through.
Furthermore if there was one criticism that could be given would be the lack of promotion clearly due to the lack of promotion we had a small and if I'm honest a week audience, this should push us as performers and host of the gig to again try communicate and get them out there comforts zone, this was done wear it was the last song of our gig and it was the last to show what we had to offer as the lead singer I humbly ask the audience how that was doing if they enjoyed the night, and not really surprised by their reaction which came across with a low energy, I asked again trying to hype them up and their reaction was a little better but it worked we then played a well-known song called (happy- by Pharrell Williams) and as it is a well know song the audience would be energised and be loosened up.This Will definitely create a sense of achievement for the band as we were behind in rehearsal from 3 weeks ago, but slowly and confidential built us up.

REHEARSAL STAGE PRESENCE
Stage presence is a key thing in an performance where it is you and the audience that are meant to have, in most of my songs
TASK 3 My Role visuals
My individual role in the planning of the performance is that I should be responsible for the visuals that will be show case as a whole band, we had the idea to have visuals at the back of us when we are performing, it would be done by having others put a projection of images either showing the songs name or an image that could describe the song as a whole, such as for the song "Dollar" we would have a projection of either money or something associated closely with the title. This could be done by power point projected on a screen or curtains. the facility for this available and I will confer with the technition along side with Kenia this is also linked to TASK 3.
