Silent Movie & Notes

We started this song in logic where we was preparing for the performance of the Level 2 performing arts students we created a theme tune that was played though out their show case and this energised the audeiance  and was so catchy that it will be able to stick to their heads, we later played the same song but the origanal peace.
However we had a song that we composed but we didn't play it as the level 2 performing arts students were performing without our song this was hard to take in as we spent a lot of time doing so, this made me feel like it set us back and it was a waste of time

BAND REHERASALS

For todays lesson we was looking at instrumentals that could maybe give us some sort of idea to help us start somewhere, it came down to even if something like a tune sounded like a theme and we could create the our song of it.

We had are guitarist to play anything that he was comfortable with and tried to vibe with him and get some keys down on the keyboard or even add some lyrics or an chorus towards it after all the play we recored are selfs on our mobile divides to remember how we conducted are peace.

John Williams

Case Study Task :1b&c

John Williams is an Amazing composer and has done a wide range of music/ film score for almost the greatest films, that have huge fan base. His film scores argued to be the biggest in the movie business.
He has done E.T.  multiple SAR WARS film scores, Harry Potter film scores and Jurassic Park all these films are know as some as the greatest movies ever made, and for MR Williams to be the writer of the film score just show's how much of a crate composer he is.

One thing we can think about with John Williams work is how can it be recognised just by the ear so maybe listen for instruments that maybe Mr Williams will often you such as the violin.

He uses a full orchestra in most of is film scores this will create his peace to be more up lifting and give it something to be looking forward to as it is John himself composing it.

Music Industry

The music industry is one of the biggest in the world and could be argued to be the biggest in the world now, I mean its everywhere in adverts, cars and in are very mobile devices this can only mean that it can get bigger and bigger.

However there are many pro's and con's when it comes to such a big industry one example of this is music is something that can never stop it can always be produced from anyone and can probably be mad by anything and theses are one of the mean reasons why the industry can never be a sell out.

Christmas show

It's the day of the christmas show and I do feel quite nervous I have to say, but if Im honest I do feel confident enough to showcase our performance me and the other band members are just getting prepared.

Before getting on stage me and my group was just giving each other some last minute advise and encouragement just so we feel confident to give a grate performance.

So are group has now been called up "THIS IS IT" we are now ready, I simply introduce the group and are name to the audience, and I was pleased to see that the crowed was looking lively and energetic.

However are bass player was not with us due to bus strike so we had Charley fill in for us for the baseline was a key part of our composition so he accompanied the band on the keys.

So the song we chose was "Happy" and this is a very well know song so there would already be expectations however we had a slights twist that I suggested to the band that we should give it some sort of acoustic vibe to it but still keep it up beats and uptempo and I really think it worked out well.

The Great Train Robbery
